When reconstructing the national cultural heritage site and turning it into the brewery, an attic area was created. The idea to add the atmosphere of a unique theatre occurred to the founder and owner of the ERB Brewery.

Ing. Eduard Rada is a great lover of rock, jazz and good music, and his big dream was to have his own theatre and to write a theatre play. The first dream has already become reality and that´s how this charming theatre with comfortable cushioned seats for 111 guests originated. The ERB theatre does not have its own theatre group yet and so it invites top theatre groups from Slovakia as well as the Czech Republic, as well as jazz, jazz-rock and big beat representatives.

If you wanted to go to a good theatre or hear good music, you had to travel west or east in Slovakia from the Banská Štiavnica area. Now you do not have to travel far as top actors and musicians come to the cosy ERB theatre directly to you. Moreover, after the performance, you just need to go a couple of steps down to the restaurant and can continue the nicely started evening with friends and enhance the cultural experience via gastronomy. The performers often stay in the restaurant, too, and contribute to the pleasant atmosphere.
